Psychotropic Drug Directory updated December 2025

This update contains changes to 23 records.

3.7 Old age has been revised and its name has been changed to 3.7 Older adults. A new record, 6.11
Weight gain, has been added to Management of side-effects, and
consequently 6.11 Others has been renamed 6.12 Others, side-effects.
Updates were also made to 1.4 Alcohol dependence and abuse, 1.13
Dementias, 1.14 Depression, and 1.15 Eating disorders to incorporate
literature on GLP-1 agonists; to 1.21 Psychosis and schizophrenia to add
literature on a new product recently licensed in the US; and to 3.9
Perinatal to include the latest MHRA drug safety information. Chapter 7
has also been updated with discontinued and relaunched products.
