Quality policy
The Royal College of Pharmacy’s (RCPharm) mission is to put pharmacy at the forefront of patient care. Its vision is to become the world leader in the safe and effective use of medicines.
As the Royal College’s knowledge business, Pharmaceutical Press supports this mission and vision by publishing the most trusted and usable data, information and therapeutic guidance on drugs and medicines. We do this on a basis of sustainable financial growth, reinvesting any profit to support the profession of pharmacy.
We validate and assess medicines information to create content which can be delivered to promote and support the safe and effective use of medicines or aid in the science and practice of pharmacy.
We believe that implementing efficient and effective working processes, that place the customer at the heart of what we do, is integral to delivering safe and useful products and services and we ensure our staff have the necessary training and competences to fulfil this aim.
Pharmaceutical Press has adopted and implemented a management system which is an integral part of our business operations and which is designed to meet and comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and all other legal and professional requirements.
We regularly review our objectives and continually improve our system to maximise the effectiveness of our published content and the utility of the delivery format. We publicise this policy to those involved in the construction of Pharmaceutical Press products and services using the intranet and company meetings, and to our customers and end-users through our public information channels.iii iv vvi
