- Who produces the content for MedicinesComplete?
Our experienced editorial team of clinical and scientific writers includes pharmacists and science graduates who triage new information, assess evidence and review changes made by other clinical and scientific writers before publication.

Content on MedicinesComplete is updated monthly. Many knowledge products including British National Formulary and BNF for Children are updated every month, and other products are updated less regularly. Visit the individual product pages for more details.
- How does user access work for our institution or organisation?
Users access MedicinesComplete via email/username and password, IP address and Shibboleth/Open Athens.

4. Select your institution and enter your login credentials- Can MedicinesComplete be accessed via mobile device?
MedicinesComplete is optimised for use on mobile, tablet and desktop devices, and there is currently no app available.
- Are usage reports provided?
Yes, usage reports are available from your Account Manager one month after your subscription start date.
- Are there system integration requirements in order to set up access for users?
There is no set up needed with MedicinesComplete. Once the contract is signed and details of your organisation’s network has been shared, the Account Manager can work to set up preferred access.
- Can we integrate content from MedicinesComplete into our systems?
Content that is accessible through MedicinesComplete is available to integrate in two ways:
- FormularyComplete – Powered by BNF, FormularyComplete allows organisations to create their own customised formulary. Find out more.
- Licensing – Get information delivered as a live feed to integrate with your internal systems (APIs); receive full content files; or simply get extracts for specific needs (XML, JSON files). Find out more.
