Through MedicinesComplete we support over 750,000 users in over 73 countries.  In delivering information on the safe and effective use of medicines our vision is to make sure the content is accessible to everyone,  via both up-to-date technical solutions and evidence-based content.

Our accessibility standard

Our websites align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) level AA, where viable.  Our goal is accessibility by design, to ensure that we achieve the guidelines and standards outlined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in their Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.  We strive to ensure that our developers and our suppliers/partners all adhere to the accessibility standards to meet our accessibility standards.

We are aware that some of our web content is not currently fully accessible,  so we are reviewing the current standards and endeavour to publish details of the areas where we think we can improve soon.

How we test our platforms

We are always looking to improve the accessibility of our websites.  New products will be tested to ensure they meet our accessibility standards prior to release.  Our goal is to test our existing websites within the next 2-3 years and then periodically every three years.
